The shotgun from the murder museum is most likely from Claire's. I haven't seen an exact design like it, but it's very similarly themed to the... other weapons that I happened to see in the back room of Claire's.

It's very likely that the shotgun was fired. How many times, I'm not sure. There are no magazines inside the shotgun either.

It's also possible that Vi's head damage was from the butt of the shotgun. There's blood on that part specifically, which aligns with Hulkenburg's analysis of blunt damage. Let's see...
