In the morning at 11:30am sharp, you hear the intercom speakers blare loudly across the entire airport, perfectly audible no matter where you are.

All passengers, please report to Terminal 0 Gate Area effective immediately. All passengers, please report to Terminal 0 Gate Area effective immediately...

...But that's so far...! Groan. Still—even if you try your best to resist, you'll find your body moving against your will and taking you all the way over there anyway. After what feels like forever of walking, you'll arrive to the gate and see that a few things are different. Most of you probably had a feeling this is what you should expect, right?

The gate has been refurnished a little bit for the proceedings today. The metal gates will not let anyone out of the Gate Area without permission, but at least there's some snacks set out, and Allstars Coffee is still open in case you need a coffee break. Your Hosts await you near the front behind the counters, carrying various, but all expectant attitudes. After all, we knew this was coming.

Welcome to trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will need to discuss the circumstances, investigate relevant locations, and put together theories about the truth behind this week's murders!

Trial will last from 9am PST/12pm EST until 6pm PST/9pm PST. There will be an hour-long break starting 1pm PST/4pm EST; while players are free to continue tagging during this time, it is intended to allow players to take a minute to eat, rest, what have you.

Lastly, voting is mandatory. Please be absolutely sure to get your IC vote in before the end of trial, or there are severe IC consequences!

DM the mods if you intend to use a curse during trial. Curse duration may be altered or subject entirely to mod approval depending on how many curses are in play. Curse duration must end before break.

Depends on the gun, I think. If you found bullets, it's not a shotgun.

There's no way it happened simultaneously, but a shot like that to the head is... pretty much an instant kill. It shouldn't be necessary to do both.

[dante can see that there are blood drips leading from out the door to the wonderful world of golf, further down the concourse towards the simulation room. that's another investigation but you may look at these drips.

tama can do that! she will find this sweet crocodile looks so normal. he is a sweet and lovable animatronic crocodile whose mouth has balls in it and he's normal. there's perhaps a vulnerable sadness in his eyes, as though he knows he has been the subject of a cruel whisper campaign based only on the assumed malevolence of his species even though he has done nothing but consume your balls. tama might also find a small black feather among the gathered golf balls by the crocodile, and there's another black feather on the grass nearby next to a small indentation in the grass.

[ Great news! You can immediately see blood!

It's a drip trail that leads from the right side of the map to the Sim Room. You cannot see any distinct footprints in it but if you squint as a tracker, you get the sense it may be two trails based on the blood drip pattern.

[ west will walk with kazuki and jonas to congratulations! when you step through the metal detector gate, it will automatically teleport you to the place to investigate. how convenient! for reference:

You can come in through the front door now for the proper experience, which is that you are instantly presented with a menu asking you to declare exactly how much steak you want and how well you want it done the moment you step inside.
The interior is rather bougie yet tastefully vintage. It would probably be highway robbery if you had to pay for it. Good thing you don't have to! Enjoy your delicious, juicy, perfectly cooked steak. It’s kind of all they have, with maybe a small selection of side salads. The kitchen, while previously open, is now no longer available for you to use for cooking. There's a take-out window down there too that can only be accessed from Level 0.

What's On the Wall?
There's a lot of hung up picture frames of famous celebrities who have eaten at Congratulations. Upon closer inspection, every single picture is of Elvis Presley. There’s one of him as an elf. There’s one of him, but purple. There’s one of him but as a horse. There’s probably a photo of him of what he would’ve looked like if he existed in your world, too. Neat.
