In the morning at 11:30am sharp, you hear the intercom speakers blare loudly across the entire airport, perfectly audible no matter where you are.

All passengers, please report to Terminal 0 Gate Area effective immediately. All passengers, please report to Terminal 0 Gate Area effective immediately...

...But that's so far...! Groan. Still—even if you try your best to resist, you'll find your body moving against your will and taking you all the way over there anyway. After what feels like forever of walking, you'll arrive to the gate and see that a few things are different. Most of you probably had a feeling this is what you should expect, right?

The gate has been refurnished a little bit for the proceedings today. The metal gates will not let anyone out of the Gate Area without permission, but at least there's some snacks set out, and Allstars Coffee is still open in case you need a coffee break. Your Hosts await you near the front behind the counters, carrying various, but all expectant attitudes. After all, we knew this was coming.

Welcome to trial! Over the course of the next nine hours, characters will need to discuss the circumstances, investigate relevant locations, and put together theories about the truth behind this week's murders!

Trial will last from 9am PST/12pm EST until 6pm PST/9pm PST. There will be an hour-long break starting 1pm PST/4pm EST; while players are free to continue tagging during this time, it is intended to allow players to take a minute to eat, rest, what have you.

Note: DM the mods if you intend to use a curse during trial. Curse duration may be altered or subject entirely to mod approval depending on how many curses are in play. Curse duration must end before break.

Lastly, voting is mandatory. Please be absolutely sure to get your IC vote in before the end of trial, or there are severe IC consequences!

below the knee, where does the slash stop in its diagonal trail on her leggie? is it a deep cut or shallow cut if he examines it with the light on his phone again. nothing on the left leg if he checks? ]

the cut is deeper at the top and becomes more shallow at the bottom. it's along the length of her shin, so it stops a bit above her ankle

using the sheet and rolling it up carefully in such a way he can kind of pillow her skull and protect her neck wound from distorting, he will roll her onto her less bloody side (the right, not the left) and check out her shoulders where there was a lot of blood. are there any wounds here on her back or anything if he works his way down. if he pulls up the back of her shirt can he see any wounds or anything back there? or bruises? ]

her shoulders are uninjured! the rest of her upper torso is also uninjured. but there was definitely a lot of blood there ]

any other crimes on the backs of her leggies? thighs? calves? or nein?

if he checks her neck wound again for the smears around it, could it be feasible that those smears belong to fingers in the way the blood might smear? like are any of the smears perhaps... finger width if he compares her less-bloody fingies to it at all? ]

but yes, the smears on her throat would line up with that! on her less-bloody fingies, it's not a very good match though because it doesn't line up with way the blood is aligned on her fingers. ]

blood on the backs of both calves? is it sprayed or dripped or splashed...? dotted?

going to carefully unlace her boots and check her socks too while we're in leg country. any blood that isn't what dribbled inside from her right leggy cut? ]

[ yes it does! it would match up well with her bloody palm

and yes there's blood on the back of both legs, but it's not in any particular pattern. there's more blood on the back of her right leg than the left one.

[ clarifying rq bc i'm gonna wrap up for now - is the blood on the rim of the heel of her shoe mentioned earlier - is it ONLY on the right shoe or both shoes? he'll go and check again.

there's no way he's taking off her clothes beyond the jacket rn so he will just carefully roll her back over onto her back and carefully lay the sheet over her again. he will try to pick out the rest of the stupid lettuce and cheese bits from her hair as he can and set them to the side like you don't deserve that, girl, and wipe a little of the sour cream out. ]
