In the morning at 12:30pm sharp, you hear the intercom speakers blare loudly across the entire airport, perfectly audible no matter where you are.

Hopefully that’s not quite as long a trek as Saturday for you. All the same, you are propelled by that same sensation to come to the Flight Deck. Your feet carry you past that glass doors onto the outdoor terrace, where the benches and quaint planters await. Why, it’d look almost serene if not for the fact that one of you appears to be missing. There’s really only one place they could be, isn’t there? Your gaze might eventually settle over the runway you can see out below—the view is great from up here.

While you're not forcibly rooted to your seats, there's no way out. The glass doors close behind the last person and refuse to budge, and the viewing glass is just as unbreakable. As for any open areas, the invisible forcefield is working so very hard on this Sunday.

[ Who else to expect to walk onto the runaway but the voted themselves?

Heeled boots walking on without a pause in step, their usual look as it's always been. The swish of their cloak as they come to a stop, as the environment starts to shift and settle on what looks to be.. an island. Tall, looming mountains. The sea just right here at the edge of it. The sight of black sand, dark like the night sky as the sky reflects the same passing image. Like the stars dance on the earth, sea and sky all together.

And yet, as Siffrin stares at it, a distant look in their eye, the island starts to glitch out. Unstable. Here and.. not. Remembered - no, not really. Forgotten. Forgotten, forgotten, forgotten.

For a moment, a memory plays.

This is not true. strohl is here, back in his halia jacket, arms crossed. he looks stormy and unhappy if at least in better health today, and his standing near hulkenberg and/or hovering near rupert unless eli is executioner in which case they're dead to me

in the meantime strohl jr, however, looks as happy as happy can be, cluelessly running around and asking for pets with his big cute eyes and ruining the mood as he does. ]

[ good morning! today is awful! he's sitting on a bench in a baggy hoodie and kind of hunched forward to watch the scene below, wings tense and slightly curled around him. there's a cigarette behind his ear instead of in his mouth this time but it makes it much more obvious he's frowning.

im cursed to be in werewolf on today the day of this execution but he sure is here today, quiet and focused straight ahead. he is holding a wooden carving of a bull very tightly between his hands, black nail polish on his fingertips as well. ]
